
The third annual Women of Achievement Luncheon was held April 5 in Richardson, where the pageant will be at the Eisemann Center. To give students throughout the state an opportunity to compete, local pageants are not restricted by residence, so girls often represent an area outside of their hometowns. Visit Bayne will compete as Houston's representative for the title of Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen, while Pearland will be represented by Kevhana Warfield, 16, a senior at Kempner High School in Sugar Land. Pageant finals will be webcast on Saturday, July 5.

Louis has always been the person who, once I got offstage, she would be there to tell me I did a great job.
